    0.1-alpha8 Pre-release

kludge released this 2026-08-12 13:18:40 +00:00 | 48 commits to main since this release

    Highlights

    • Eliminates redundant hybrid-RDB MBR*:MSD Workbench icons using the established DOS InfoData compatibility response, while preserving MSD\0 public volume identity and private FTSO RDB identity.
    • Stabilizes volume identity across lazy remounts and adds fatso-probe wbtrace identity.
    • Hardens mounted-device and raw formatting, partition bounds, short I/O handling, label validation, and flush behavior.
    • Corrects canonical ACTION_SET_PROTECT packet decoding and tightens leading-dot compatibility lookup.
    • Validated with emulator hardfiles on AmigaOS 2.05, 3.1, and 3.2.2.1. Real-hardware validation remains pending.
